Oakview hosts the Christian Team Trails Fishing Tournament on the first Saturday of the month from October thru April.  The first tournament of the season will be held on Saturday, October 4^th at safe daylight at Okee-Tantie.  You may register at the church office before the tournament.  The cost is $75 per boat.

Oakview sponsors a first-class bass fishing tournament.  The area in which we live offers us this unique opportunity for ministry.

This tournament is a special ministry as it allows us to demonstrate giving without a motive of receiving.   This is accomplished by a full return of all registration fees to the tournament participants according to their finishing position.  It is our prayer that this example will cause a Spiritual Curiosity within that they will seek to discover the origin.  The origin of course being, Jesus Christ and what he has done in our lives.

A typical Tournament consists of a first light launch with a 1:00 PM weigh-in.  We then have free hot dogs and drinks that have been donated by the Church.  Door Prizes are also distributed during this time.
