Senior Pastor

Dr. John Garrison – came to Oakview on April 3, 2008 and began his ministry on April 6th.  He holds degrees from Walker Jr. College in Jasper Alabama, Samford University in Birmingham Alabama, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth Texas and Covington Theological Seminary in Rossville Georgia.  He has served as a pastor, North American Board Missionary in Indiana and an International Missionary in Zambia Africa.  He is married to Amelia and they have two sons, both living in Indiana and a daughter who is deceased.  The pastor’s vision is to see people come to Christ and mature as believers.  He has a love for missions which drives his ministry.

Min. of Education & Outreach

Bro. Darrell was called as Minister of Education & Outreach in July of 2001.  Darrell is a graduate of Clear Creek Baptist Bible College.  He has served churches in Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana.  His service has been in the area of Youth Ministry and Education.  Darrell and his wife, Teresa, have two daughters; Latasha and Ashley.

Business Administrator

Bill was called as Business Administrator in June of 2005 after having spent almost 30 years in banking. During his banking career his responsibilities were primarily as a bank branch manager and a commercial loan officer. He and his wife, Carol, have three daughters; Beth, Katie, and Rachel.
