Laugh a Little PDF Print E-mail

A good laugh is like a good dose of medicine – if there is any such thing as a “good dose” of medicine!  The point is that it does us good to laugh.  The Bible discusses this important subject in Proverbs 17:22 – “A joyful heart is good medicine…” (NASB).

Here are some definitions that might be like medicine for you!  Enjoy a laugh or two!

Benign – what you be after you be eight!

Bacteria – back door to cafeteria!

Barium – what you do with dead folks!

Cauterize – made eye contact with her!

Dilate – to live longer than you kids do!

Hangnail – what you hand you coat on!

Morbid – a higher offer than I bid!

Nitrates – cheaper than day rates!

Node – I knew it!

Outpatient – a person who has fainted!

Terminal illness – getting sick at the train station!

Tumor – more than one!

Varicose – near by!

And one more for the more adventurous and even lighter hearted – you might be a redneck if you have a complete set of salad bowls and they all say “Cool Whip” on the side!
